Challenge
This new medical device manufacture received it’s FDA approval and was ready to go to market. The trick was, their products weren’t in production yet. So they needed a way to show their spinal implant devices in exact detail, virtually.
From instrument caddies and complete surgical kits, to their ground-breaking Cross-Link™ device, every product had to be expressed in surgical detail.
Solution
IWS was able to take data from the manufactures CAD files to build exact 3D models of each of their flagship products. So surgeons could evaluate the devices, even before the first one had been manufactured. Virtual products were used to complete photographs of incomplete surgery kist.
To create additional visual learning tools for doctors, surgeons and patients, the virtual products were used in video animations to show proper implantation procedures.

IWS was able to combine SRI’s beautiful virtual products with anatomical human models to create video learning tools.
Using 3D to animate these ground-breaking products allowed the client to show exactly how patented their system worked, in ways that would have been impossible in a typical surgical video.

With a collection of ground-breaking products, SRI wanted to have a hi-tech feel to their online presence. Once IWS helped flesh out the product visuals with virtual models, it was time to make them shine.
The site features beautiful 3D views of all the major products with accompanying animations, an integrated newsletter system, custom contact forms and an integrated analytics dashboard.
